She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sydney and Pearlie Nicholson Allen; her husband Ed Kannada; her daughter Kay Kannada Bounds; and her siblings, Willie Pearl Palmer, Jean Allen, Catherine Ainsworth, Syble Gamble, Sydney Allen, Earnest Allen and Herbert Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Coleman-Yendt (Bill) of Tupelo, MS and Mike Kannada (Fonda) of Water Valley, MS; and her grandchildren, Brian Kannada, Dustin Kannada, Leatha Willis and Ashley Freeman. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
