He is survived by: his wife Peggy Shepherd; his children, Pat Shepherd (Christy) of Oxford, MS and Tammie Allison (Kevin) of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren, Steven, Matthew Shepherd, Katie McKenna, Erin, Lindsey Swafford, Dede Shinall, Jennifer Carter and Christian Allison; and his sister Emma Jean Bailey. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
