He was predeceased by: his parents, Lou Ella Gardner Shaw and Troy Andrew Shaw; his wife Betty Cooper Shaw; and his siblings, Lavada Byars, Mary McDill, Mary Nell Shaw, Wilford Shaw and Talmadge Shaw.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Smith (Randy) of Oxford, MS and Beverly Martin of Mesa, AZ. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
