She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Carter and Bessie Carter. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Wade Waters; her daughters, Beverly Waters and Elizabeth Coon (David); and her grandchildren, Sean Nichols, Russell Coon and Walker Coon. She is also survived by her daughters, grandsons, and her son in law that she loved like a son.
