He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Martin and Ida Pearl Woods Martin; his children, Monique and Tihomas Anderson; his stepgrandson David Walker; and his siblings, William Martin (Billy) and Freda Martin Gipson.
He is survived by: his significant other Anna Rose Anderson; his children, LaNikwai, Nakea Anderson of Merrillville and Thomas Martin, Jr. of Arlington, Texas; his stepchildren, Elbony Powell (Jason) of Yukon, Antonia Young, Sr. (Victor) of Gary, Tymiko Washington (Paul) of Merrillville, Sean and Tiara Anderson of Gary, Indiana; and his siblings, Murray Martin of Monticello, Dennis Martin of Oxford, Mississippi and Joyce Martin Logan of Oxford, Mississippi. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the L. Hodges Funeral Service (721 Damascus Rd, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the North Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church (11 Co Rd 349, Taylor, MS 38673).
