He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wimberly and Ruby Caldwell Wimberly; and his siblings, David Wimberly, James Wimberly, Anna Wimberly and Earline Maples.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Davis Wimberly of Oxford, Mississippi; and his sister Peggy Salmon of Oxford, Mississippi. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, godchildren, and special friends.
