With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Kay Sanders Hanks of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Hanks; her parents, Bennie Sanders and Nell Sanders; and her siblings, Danny Joiner, Tommie Joiner and Nancy Bowles.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Hanks (Leah), Elisabeth Mills and Tyler Hanks; her caregiver Addison Mills; her grandsons, Alex and Noah Hanks; and her sisters, Joy Beard (Ronald) and Jill Carwyle (David Carwyle). She is also survived by her in-laws, a few out-laws, and several nieces and nephews.
