We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024, at the age of 89, Samuel Lamar Jennings (Oxford, Mississippi), born in Quitman, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Charles and Margaret Ruth Jennings; his brother Charles Thomas Jennings; and his grandson David Sean Price. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dunn Jennings; his children, Terri Jennings Overmann (Tim Overmann) of Jacksonville, Fla., Holly Jennings of Panama City, FL., Brad Lamar Jennings (Kristin Jennings) of Houson and Craig Lee Jennings (Denise Jennings) of Hernando, Miss.; his grandchildren, Lanie Price Diaz, Kyle Morris, Kevin Boyaval, Grayson Jenning, Caroline Jennings, Kaitlin Jennings, Julia Jennings, Wilson Jennings and Hudson Jennings; his great grandchildren, Amelia Diaz, Saylor Diaz and Elena Morris Hayden Morris; and his sister Iris Jennings Plunkett (Cookie) of Madison. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
