He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Davis and Malcolm Davis; and his sister Ellen Davis. He is survived by: his wife Joy Davis of Independence, MS; and his sons, Eric Davis of Alabama, Gary Davis of Horn Lake, MS and Keith Davis of Independence. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of traditional flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
