She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie C. Smith and Lula Bruce Smith (Leland Brown); her siblings, Joe Louis, Charlie Smith, Jr., Ethel Jennings, Queenie Martin, Bessie Lee Smith and Eula Mae Smith; and her children, Walter, Jesse, Hubert, Exie Mae and Clara Mae.
She is survived by: her husband Deacon Leland Brown; her niece Shelia Smith; her children, Anna Carson, John Paul, Shirley Enterkin of Meridian, MS, Jeanette Brown of Houston, TX, Martha H. Brown of Davenport, IA, Lee Russell Brown (Ada Ruth) of Dayton, Leland Brown, Jr. of Batesville, MS and Willie A. Brown of Davenport, IA.; her godchildren, Anna Carson and John Paul Parker of Oxford, MS; and her siblings, Marzee Smith of Racine, WI, James Cliff Smith of Buffalo, NY and Lula Grace Kilgore (Walter) of Grand Rapid, MI.. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
