He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Ann Jones; his parents, Major Jones and Clytie Jones; his sons, Bobby Lee Jones and David Major Jones; and his granddaughter Jessie Mea Royer.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Jones of Water Valley; his grandchildren, Marie Jones of Water Valley, Paige Williams of Hernando, MS, Corie Sullender of Jackson, TN, Kelli Sullender of Jackson, TN, Cody Brewer of Singapore, Asia, Chance Brewer of Oxford and Jamie Faulkner; his siblings, Peggy Burks, Larry Jones and Edward Jones; and his daughter-in-law Valorie Jones. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
