She was predeceased by: her parents, Linder Burt and Amy Taylor; and her husband Clinton Houston. She is survived by: her children, Gwen McDaniel of Fayetteville, GA, Wilma Scales (Robert) of Lithonia, GA, Alvra Jenkins of Jackson, MS, Wilton Greene (Jean) of Aurora, IL, Rosalind Brundy (Joseph) of Chester, VA, Joanna Marshall (Tommy) of Ridgeland, MS and Arnold Houston of Oxford, MS; and her siblings, Alfred Patton (Carla) of Memphis, TN and Effie Burt of Oxford, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
