He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Merrill Dalton and Rosalie Mabry Dalton. He is survived by: his children, Oliver and Lilian; his pets, Merlin and Sarah; his sons, James (Jacqueline King) of Lockhart, Texas and Michael (Kristin Darling); his grandchild Dorian; and his former wife Karin Woodward Dalton of Lockhart, Texas. He is also survived by three brothers, a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
