He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Burns (Bud) and Alice Burns. He is survived by: his children, Denyce Dean (David), Tom Burns and Katie Burns; his grandchildren, Kimber Savidge (Luke), Peyton Culbertson (Kelsey), Sean Burns and Ryleigh Burns; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Martin (Sean), Heather Hunter (Joey), Mitchell Dean (Rachel) and Derek Dean (Lauren); his siblings, Peggy Robnett (Bud) and Douglas Burns (Lawni); and his sister-in-law Sarah Whyte. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
