He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bordeaux Laney and Brookie Wilson Laney. He is survived by: his children, Rick Laney (Renee) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Elizabeth Laney Wengryn (David) of Duluth, Georgia; his grandchildren, Demi Laney Engman (Chase) of Beaumont, Texas, Riley Laney (Chelsea) of Menominee, Michigan, Harrison Wengryn of Duluth, Georgia and Ben Wengryn of Duluth, Georgia; his great grandchild Laney Mae Engman of Beaumont, Texas; his brothers, Buddy Laney of Water Valley, Mississippi and Paul Laney of Water Valley, Mississippi; his nephew Doug Laney (Brenda) of Water Valley; and his sister Margaret Laney Boland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
