He is survived by: his children, Brenda Townsend (Kevin) of Horn Lake, MS, James Johnson of Winona, MS, Dennis Harris (Felicia) of Grenada, MS, Leroy Johnson (Samantha) of Chicago, IL and Mary Johnson of Winter Haven, FL; his stepchildren, Gregory Johnson, Fredrick Johnson (Lena) and Shelia Forrest (Willie) of Winona, MS; and his siblings, Flora Woods (Roderick) of Oxford, MS, Alice Goldman (Leander) of Oxford, MS, Dorothy Clay of Grenada, MS, Patricia Ellie (Floyd) of Grenada, MS, Bernice Flowers of Grenada, MS and Clarence Johnson (Annice) of Holly Springs, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
