He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Carter and Estill Saunders Carter. He is survived by: his children, Becky Carter Jones (Mike) of Sardis, MS and Bruce Carter (Nancy) of Franklin, TN; his grandchildren, Rob Carter (Tomoko), Marybeth Carter and Ryan Jones (Stephanie); his wife Mary Belle Rich Carter; and his sister Frances Carter House. He is also survived by family members and friends.
