He is survived by: his son Jesse Clayton (Hilary) of Pontotoc, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Emery Clayton, Finley Clayton, Addison Clayton and Baylor Clayton; and his sister Lisa Hannon (Craig) of Ecru, Mississippi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
