With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Smith of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Raymond's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Raymond has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Dale "LD" Smith, Sr. and Rosemary Auletti Smith; and his brothers, Gene Smith and Leonard Dale "Little LD" Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Diana Schubach (Mike) and Charles Smith (Sharon).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the United Funeral Service, Inc. (700 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
