She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Joiner and Mae Brassell Joiner. She is survived by: her husband Eugene "Butch" McEwen; her brothers, Albert Willie Joiner of Batesville, MS, Walter James Joiner of Greenwood, MS and Jasper Joiner; her aunt Martha Lewis; her cousins, Effie Sledge, Jessie Williams and Linda Buford; and her close friends, Wanda Jones, Pastor and Jerry Malone. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
