She is survived by: her children, James Mathis, Perry Mathis (Willie Lois), David Mathis, Milton Mathis, Bettie Turnage of Oxford, Mississippi, Vivian Goliday of Oxford, Mississippi, Lydia Pegues (Lee) of Oxford, Mississippi, Marie Mathis of Oxford, Mississippi and Jeanette Pegues (Kenneth) of Oxford, Mississippi; and her stepson David Earl Hilliard. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
