He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Jefferson Smith and Bessie Melton Smith; and his siblings, Troy Lynn Smith, Margaret Ann Smith Tutor and Ida Dell Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Damon Smith, Magan Smith, Dakota Smith and Michael Smith (Barbara Bright Bennett); and his grandchildren, Hayden, Braylynn, Wyatt, Chris, Carter, Zane, Kaysen, Leigh and Bryson.
