She was predeceased by: her husband James Benjamin Massey, Jr. (Ben); her children, Patricia Ann Brown and James Robert Massey; her parents, James Nathaniel Hunt and Rachel Blevins Hunt; and her brothers, Harold Lee Hunt, James Hunt, Allen Hunt, William Hunt and Robert Earl Hunt.
She is survived by: her son David Martin Massey (Terri Massey); and her grandchildren, Cynthia Ashleigh Brown and Jonathan Chad Brown (Bryna Brown).
