He is survived by: his children, Shirley, Lee Ronnie Jones (Robert) of St. Louis, MO, Henry Simmons (Hattie) of Oxford, MS, Mathanial Simmons (Ethel) of Oxford, MS and Larry Simmons (Lynette) of Memphis, TN.; his grandchildren, Kimberly Lee of Florissant, MO, Michael Simmons of Oxford, MS, Shawn Avent (Erica) of Oxford, MS, Keesha Austin of Oxford, MS, Christopher Simmons of Oxford, MS, Mark Simmons of Oxford, MS, LaRhonda Simmons, Latebony Simmons of Memphis, TN, Kyla Armstrong (Demetrius) of Water Valley, MS, Matesia Simmons, Martin Simmons of Oxford, MS and Mathan Simmons of San Antonio, TX.; his niece Clara Pickette of Milwaukee, WI.; and his friend Bro. David Ard. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
