She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Reynolds and Hattie Mae Harris Reynolds; her husband Fred Reed; and her children, Terry and Shirley Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Freddie Reed of Abbeville, Mississippi, Frankie Reed of Abbeville, Mississippi, Gloria Wilson (Vernon) of Abbeville, Mississippi and Stephanie Reed of Abbeville, Mississippi; and her siblings, Josie Carothers of Abbeville, Mississippi, Jank, Raymond, George, Joseph, Andrew, Dave, Joe, Earnestine and Classie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the L. Hodges Funeral Service (721 Damascus Rd, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East St. Peter M. B. Church (274 Co Rd 215, Abbeville, MS 38655). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the same location.
