He is survived by: his wife Martha Moore Bowles of Oxford, Mississippi; his daughters, Tabetha Gedeon of Wakefield, Tassi Hendricks (Henry Dale) of Oxford, Mississippi and Rachel Cox (Mark) of Oxford, Mississippi; and his sisters, Edith Dooley (Charles) of Oxford, Mississippi and Ruby Baker of Oxford, Mississippi. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford (601 Commerce Pkwy, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Springdale Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery (1429 MS-334, Oxford, MS 38655).
