He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Knight and Emma Knight; his wife Janis King Knight; and his sisters, Helen C. Cantrell and Betty Box.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Knight (Kathy) of Oxford and Charles Knight of Jackson, MS; and his brother Ronald Knight of Plano, TX. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
