With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVorace Yvonne Frierson of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on August 5, 2024 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah "Ike" Mathis and Bennie Jean Frierson; and her grandparents, Bennie, Lavora Frierson, Willard and Lula Mathis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lavorace and Moriah Price; her siblings, Kenyon Frierson (Avis) of Oxford, Randy Liggins of Atlanta, GA and Rita Liggins; her aunts, Stella Buford of Oxford, MS, Vickie Adams of Oxford, MS and Wilma Frierson of Oxford, MS; her nephew Imani Corbitt; her niece Ken'Nia D. Frierson of Oxford, Mississippi; her cousins, Andi, Jacelyn L. Frierson and Benjamin Adams of Oxford, MS.; and her uncles, George Ralph "Ricky" Frierson, Andrew "Tank" Frierson, Sherman Buford and John Adams. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
