It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laken Lane Taylor of Oxford, Mississippi, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Rhonda Daon Taylor; and her grandparents, Simeon Byron Taylor, III, Charles Blankenship and June Cummings. She is survived by: her father Terry Taylor of Oxford; her children, Neely Grace Taylor of Oxford, Henley Shaw Taylor of Oxford and Simeon Jackson Taylor of Oxford; her sister June Nicole Taylor of Oxford; her grandmother Iris V. Taylor of Oxford; her aunts, Sherrie Padgett of Oxford and Wendy Reese (Mark) of Oxford; and her cousins, Bo Padgett (Starr) of Oxford, Leigh Taylor Padgett of Oxford, Tony Franks (Ashley) and Christopher Franks of Greenville, MS.
