She is survived by: her children, Elijah Kirkwood of Oxford, MS, Marquel Kirkwood of Oxford, MS and Karianna Kirkwood of Oxford, MS; her parents, Linda Kirkwood of Oxford, MS and Kenneth Kirkwood of Memphis, TN; and her sisters, Jeannette Fondren of Taylor, MS and Kenlindra Kirkwood of Batesville. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, along with her church family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the L. Hodges Funeral Service (721 Damascus Rd, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tallahatchie-Oxford Missionary Baptist Association Building (20 MS-334, Oxford, MS 38655). A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at the Yocona Cemetery.
