She is survived by: her mother Elva Juanita Foster Carnell of Oxford, MS; her husband Michael Popernik of Oxford, MS; her son Jonathan Allen Edge (Stormie) of Oxford, MS; her stepchildren, Haley Edge Aycock (Justin) of Blackland, MS, Elizabeth Popernick (Hugh McClendon) of Oxford, MS, Bryson Jeffery Edge of Oxford, MS and Michael Reid of Oxford, MS; and her sister Bobbie Jean Carnell Riales (Van) of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
