She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Jones and Hazel Stokes Jones; her husband L. V. Jones; and her siblings, Mary "Verne" Wortham, Marlean Jones, Billy Wayne Jones, Earl Jones (Pee Wee), George Jones, Edward Jones, Charles Jones, James Jones and James Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Jones of Oxford, MS, Abdul Jones of Oxford, MS, Shiloh Herron of Oxford, MS, Jerimiah Wilson of Oxford, MS and Ashley Hilliard of Tupelo, MS; her siblings, Odella Thompkins of Palmetto, MS, Lou Mamie McCann and Richard Jones of Oxford, MS; her grandchildren, Juanique Hilliard, Sha'Daijia Means and Shy'la Herron; her great grandchild Ty'Maun Means; her stepdaughter Bridgette Booker (Eddie) of Taylor, MS; and her goddaughter Niva Ward (Mitchell) of Taylor, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the L. Hodges Funeral Service (721 Damascus Rd, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Oxford Memorial Cemetery North 16th (420 N 16th St, Oxford, MS 38655).
