He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna I. Morris and Joseph Adams, Sr.; his wife Marie Therese Adams; and his siblings, Edna Bitner and Dunston Lurch.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Chiles (Drew) of Water Valley, MS, Sean Adams of Water Valley, MS, Chris Adams (Ashley D'amore) of Memphis, TN and Brian Adams (Marlee) of Southaven, MS; his niece Laurie Bent of Denver, CO; and his grandchildren, Linden "Denny" Chiles, Kelly Adams, Kathryn Adams, Jake Everett and Asher Rhys.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (406 University Ave, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
