He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Cardenas and Maria Clara Hernandez. He is survived by: his children, Marcela King (Eugene) of Boaz, Alabama, Luis Servando Regalado-Ortiz of Nashville, Tennessee and Jose Mauro Regalado-Ortiz of Oxford, Mississippi; his granddaughters, Elizabeth King, Isabella King and Alexandria King; and his siblings, Juana Regalado, Maria Claudia Regalado, Bertha Regalado, Francisco Regalado, Mauro Regalado and Jorge Regalado.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford (601 Commerce Pkwy, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Instead of traditional flowers, the family has requested donations to Iglesia del Nazareno Eben-Ezer (253 Hwy 7 South Oxford, Mississippi 38655).
