Tatum (Oxford, Mississippi), born in Taylor, Mississippi, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Linder and Jim Q. Tatum, Sr.; his wife Jewel Upchurch Tatum; and his siblings, Katherine Collins, Jimmie Callicoat, Martha Tatum and Frank Tatum.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Tatum Bainer (Jeff) of Batesville, MS, Jim Q. Tatum, III (Karen) of Taylor, MS, John Tatum (Rachel) of Taylor, MS and Joy Tatum Shideler (Kelly) of Taylor, MS; and his grandchildren, Jim Q. Tatum, IV (Maegan), Kelly Tatum Ingram (Tristen), Aaron Tatum (Tori), Sarah Jane Bainer, Emma Bainer and Sawyer Tatum.
Burial will be in Browning Cemetery with no visitation or public service due to COVID-19 precautions.
