He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Hamby of Water Valley; his son James Hamby; his stepchildren, John Green, Donna Ragon (Rickey), James "Buck" Green and Cecil Austin; and his grandchildren, Josh Ragon (Carli), Jonathan Ragon (Bethany), Tessa Green (Jason), Justin Green, Matthew Childers, Jason Green and Brittany Austin. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
