It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Brooks Hancock (Oxford, Mississippi), born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ouida Faye Hancock (Styers); his parents, Stanley Hancock and Ethel Hancock; and his children, Jerry Brooks, Jr. (Selma), Richard Augustus (Sheila), Micki Marie Lamb (John) and Vicki Faye Ellis (Marty). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
