He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred King and Cecil Kellum; and his sister-in-law Helen Ward Kellum. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Dodwell Kellum; his daughters, Kate Kellum and Kelly Weems; his sons-in-law, Jason Finch and Billy Weems; his siblings, Glenn Kellum and Janice K. Bounds (John); and his grandchildren, Cecilia, Bennett and Sophie Weems. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
