He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Lester Booker and Bernice Booker. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his sons, Jeffery Maurice Magee and Christopher Booker; and his siblings, Stephen Booker (Patricia), Charles Ellis (Mary Ann), Anthony Booker, Rosetta Brown, Bernita Booker, Edith Kelly-Green, Sherron Dixon, Rosiland Sewell (Titus) and Joann Miller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
