We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2020, at the age of 92, Jane Herring McLarty (Oxford, Mississippi), born in Pascagoula, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hermine Herring and William Bragg Herring; and her son William Andrew McLarty. She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Martha Jane McLarty of Oxford and Hermine McLarty Granberry; her children-in-law, William Senton Granberry, Jr. of Hattiesburg and Margaret Peters McLarty of Jackson; her grandchildren, William Andrew McLarty, Jr. (Emily) of Brookhaven, Nathan Peters McLarty (Stephanie) of McLean, Virginia, Jackson Harris McLarty (Allie) of Hermosa Beach, California, Hermine Herring Granberry, Clara Jane Granberry and William Senton Granberry III of Hattiesburg; her great grandchildren, Adeline Jane McLarty of McLean and Waverly Ann McLarty of Brookhaven; her sisters, Hermine Herring Braden of Houston, Texas and Billie Bragg Herring Wadlington of Oxford; her grandsons, Andrew McLarty, Jack McLarty and Senton Granberry; and her cousin Dr. Keith Mansel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
