He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murry Faulkner and Nancy Watson Faulkner (Jimmy); and his grandparents, Dolly, John Faulkner, Thomas F. Watson and Margaret Wood Watson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Wesley Faulkner (Buddy) and Margaret Faulkner DuChaine (Meg); his niece Sarah Jane Faulkner; his nephews, John Faulkner, Jack Faulkner and Will Faulkner; his great-niece Drew; his great-nephew James; his siblings-in-law, Sally and John; and his pet Constance.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to Alaqua Animal Refuge.
