He was predeceased by: his father James Henry Hawkins; and his sister Sherrill Sommer. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his daughters, Courtney Hawkins, Erin Sanders (Allen), Woodstock, Katie Crabtree, Ann Parrish (Tate) and Spring; and his sisters, Deborah Hawkins Thompson, Ramona Hawkins Wagner and Chattanooga. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
