She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hounschell and Dorthy Dodd Hounschell; and her sister Jolynn Hounschell. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Hill of Ripley, Mississippi, Eli Hill of Corinth, Mississippi and Adam Burkes of Brandon, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Alexis, Russell Pegram of Ripley and Stoney Burkes of Brandon, Mississippi; and her siblings, Patsy Claspell of Randolph, Irene Ank of Taylors and Mitchell Hounschell (Sharon) of Inman. She is also survived by ten nephews and nieces.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Diversicare of Ripley (101 Cunningham Dr, Ripley, MS 38663).
