He was predeceased by: his wife Jimmie Ruth Franklin; his son Larry; and his grandson Danny Collins. He is survived by: his children, Susan Franklin of Oxford, MS and Hugh Franklin (Linda) of Oxford, MS; and his brother James Franklin of Oklahoma. He is also survived by two grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
