He is survived by: his wife Lillie Smith of Oxford, MS; his children, Herman Pegues, Jr. (Elaine) of Oxford, MS, James Wesley Pegues (Joyce) of Water Valley, MS, Marcus Pegues (Lisa) of Oxford, MS, Mark Pegues of Oxford, MS, Harmel Pegues (Shanta) of Batesville, MS, Brenda Pegues of Athens, GA and Marilyn Pegues of Oxford, MS; and his siblings, Willie C. Pegues (Mae Hanna) of St. Louis, MO, Dewey Pegues of Oxford, MS, Kenneth Pegues (Jeanette) of Oxford, MS, Goolsby of St. Louis, MO, Flora Harrison (Derrils) of Courtland, MS and Alice Bonner of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
