She was predeceased by: her spouse Herron Rowland, Jr.; her parents, Paul H Cockrill and Myrtle "Dimps" Ogan; her brother Paul Cockrill; and her stepbrother Bill Ogan.
She is survived by: her children, Gena Straub (Ed) of Counce, TN., Vicki Fowlkes (Tom) of Oxford and Herron Rowland (Cynthia) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Maegan Mallon of Bluffton, SC, Elizabeth Fowlkes of Lincoln, AL, Katherine Fowlkes of Birmingham, AL, Whitman of Oxford and Margaret Rowland of Oxford; and her sisters, Jane Emerson Craddock of Warne, NC and Mary Cude of Franklin, NC. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
