He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Nunn and William Elvis Smith; his siblings, Kay Blackburn, Abb Smith, Clinton Smith, William Smith, Joe Smith, Johnny Smith and James Smith; and his grandson Noah Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones Smith of Oxford, MS; his children, Christopher Glenn Smith (Jill) of Lula, GA, Corey Sean Smith (Andrea) of Brandon, MS, Michael Ryan Smith of Memphis, TN, Barry Vaughn (Mary) of Water Valley, MS and Pam Smith (Alan) of Oxford, MS; his siblings, Betty Kesler of Abbeville, MS, Delorse Calfee of Oxford, MS, Rita Parrott of Oxford, MS, Peggy Cobb of Oxford, MS and David Smith of Water Valley, MS; and his grandchildren, Allison, Chloe, Abigail, Gene, William, Valerie and Hunter. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waller Funeral Home & Cremation Services (419 MS-6, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home (419 MS-6, Oxford, MS 38655).
