With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Michael Murphy of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on April 30, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Albert and Carol Jackson Moorman. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Watts "Poky" Murphy of Oxford; his children, Erin Murphy Cromeans (John) of Oxford and Todd Murphy of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Leah Copeland and Jack Cromeans.
