He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Clayton and Jettie Oliver Clayton; and his sisters, Bernice Morrow and Ella Clayton. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Clayton Bowen of Oxford, MS, Carrie Louise Steven (Charles) of Oxford, MS and Henry James Clayton (Juliette) of Columbus, OH; and his close friend Patricia Ramsey Pegues of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
