She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Batte and Iva Belle Easterling Batte; her husband James Albert Grayson; and her brothers, Tommy Batte and Jack Batte.

She is survived by: her niece Cindy; her son David Grayson of Oxford; her siblings, Nellie Batte Craft of Gulfport and Howard Batte (Lillie) of Mount Olive; and her sisters-in-law, Sarah Batte of Mount Olive, Rynn Blakeney of Mize and Betty Matthews of Star. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Rock Hill Cemetery Trust Fund or Maranatha Baptist Church.
